Westside Swimming and Diving 1964-1988
Westside swimming and diving from 1964-1988 dominated the State Championships in boys’ and girls’ competition. Those teams were coached by Nebraska High School Sports Hall of Fame Coaches Cal Bentz (1964-1978) and Doug Krecklow (1979-1988). Westside won 29 State Championships (18 boys’ and 11 girls’), 8 Runner-up trophies (5 boys’ and 2 girls’) and one boys’ Co-championship
