HOF inducteeAthlete. One who brought national acclaim to the gymnastics program at Omaha Norhwest High School, this 1984 graduate won nine gold medals including two all-around golds while performing elements in her routines never done before by Nebraska high school gymnasts. In her senior season she led Northwest to the team championship. Her 1984 team set a new state scoring record and was listed by Gymnastic Magazine as one of the highest scoring high school teams in the nation. She was five times an All-American in gymnastics at Arizona State University. Once she was pictured in Sports Illustrated magazine, bringing attention to the excellent gymnastic programs in Nebraska high schools.
