The induction ceremony for the Hall of Fame Class of 2019 will be held on September 22 at Lincoln East High School. Activities will begin at 1:30. A reception will be held in the cafeteria prior to the induction starting at 12:00 PM. The exhibit hall located at 500 Charleston St. will be open from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on the morning of the 22nd.
The 2018 Induction ceremony was held on September 23 at Lincoln East. This year saw the addition of 20 inductees and recognition of Silver, Gold anniversary teams, Fischer Family winner, Gustafson Award recipient and Dominant dynasty team.
UNL interim Athletic Director was a quest of the Regents when they visited the Hall of Fame on October 5th. Rimington was inducted into the Nebraska Hall of Fame in 1995 after a stellar career at Omaha South and later the University of Nebraska. The annual Rimington Award is given yearly to the best collegiate center in the country.
On October 5th the Hall of Fame hosted the Nebraska Board of Regents in a social and walk through of the Hall. For many it was the first exposure to the Hall of Fame and all came away most impressed. A big thank you to Regent President Bob Whitehouse who orchestrated the event.
On October 1st, the Nebraska High School Sports Hall of Fame Foundation welcomed its 24th class of inductees. Access the YouTube presentation of that ceremony.

Local TV program Pure Nebraska visited the Hall of Fame during its live broadcast. Reporter Kristin Bauer joined Assistant Executive Director Mike Rasmussen in featuring some of the attractions and discuss the motivation behind the Hall of Fame Foundation.

The NHSSHOF Needs Your Help!
The Nebraska High School Sports Hall of Fame is looking for memorabilia that could be displayed in the Hall.
These items could be donated or loaned for a designated period of time.
Nebraska high school sports goes back to the early 1900s and we hope there are items out there that could be shared with the Hall of Fame and high school sports fans. Items that could be considered would be, but not limited to, things like equipment, uniforms, shoes, balls, photos, newspaper articles, letter jackets, trophies, championship game programs and game film (16 mm, super 8, VHS and DVD).
We are also looking for memorabilia that is rare or out of the ordinary.
