Omaha North (Class of 2010)

His school’s first four-time state wrestling champion, Ron Coleman was equally talented in football and chose that sport as his path to college at Southeast Missouri State. Known as “Burger” to his teammates for his favorite food, he was a four-year starter for the Vikings in football and a two-time All-Nebraska player who set school records for touchdowns (46) and points (276) in a career. He was the state’s consensus Athlete of the Year as a junior and also qualified for state in the shot put as a senior. At Southeast Missouri, he started 39 games in four seasons while playing fullback and tight end.
