LINCOLN SOUTHEAST-2009
KK Houser’s career culminated with a state basketball championship, three state track meet gold medals and all-state honors in softball and basketball. Houser finished with 11 Lincoln Southeast basketball records in points, steals and assists. The Knights won the Class A title in her junior year and as a senior, she was the state’s Miss Basketball and Gatorade player of the year. Her speed helped her set state softball records for single-game, season and career stolen bases. She ran on the state-record-setting 1600 relay and won the Class A 100-meter high hurdles. She was the Lincoln Journals Star’s co-girls athlete of the year. She was All-Big 10 in women’s basketball at Purdue and played seven years of professional basketball overseas.
