Michelle Shoemaker

A three-sport standout at Ansley, Michelle (Shoemaker) Meyer made her biggest impact on the track. She won nine Class C titles and one All-Class gold, the long jump in 1990, and scored 112 career points at the state meet. In 1990, she was the first girl to win four individual events in one year and her 40 points enabled the Warriors to be the Class C team runner-up. She was All-Conference and All-Region in volleyball and basketball. At Nebraska, Michelle won the Big Eight indoor pentathlon in 1994 and was conference runner-up three times in combined events.
