Neil Unterseher- Lincoln High

A three-time No. 1 singles State Champion in tennis, Neil Unterseher was an All-State point guard on the Links’ 1958 State Championship basketball team averaging 13 points per game. A three-year letterman in both sports, Unterseher started winning tennis tournaments at age 11 and didn’t stop, rising to a No. 17 national ranking. Neil led the Links to State Championships in 1957 and 1958 and went on to be a captain of the University of Texas tennis team, earning All-American honors while advancing to the NCAA quarterfinals as a sophomore. He was Southwest Conference regular-season doubles champion as a junior.
