RESHEA BRISTOL-ATHLETE

OMAHA BRYAN-1996

A two-time all-state basketball selection who finished with 1407 points, Reshea Bristol led Omaha Bryan to three Class A tournaments and a runner-up finish in 1995.  She earned All-Metro honors in volleyball her junior and senior seasons and competed for the Bears in soccer and track.  The 1996 B’nai B’rith girls athlete of the year took her talents to the University of Arizona, where she set the career records for steals and ranked fifth in career scoring, earning All-Pac honors.  Bristol hit the game-winning basket as Arizona snapped Stanford’s 48 -game win streak in 1998.  She started her professional career with Charlotte in the WNBA and extended it for 11 years overseas before returning to Omaha to coach.
